We appreciate you taking the time to learn more about our clinical trial being conducted for patients with hepatic encephalopathy (HE). This study will test the safety and efficacy of HPN-100 over a 16-week period. HPN-100 is an investigational drug, which means it is being tested to see whether it is safe and whether it works. HPN-100 is not approved for sale by any government regulatory agency. The research study is designed to determine whether HPN-100 can reduce the number of HE episodes a patient experiences. Patients with cirrhosis and HE aged 18 and older who meet other study criteria are eligible to participate. Which medical centers are participating in this study?
